Ralph F. Fisher Jr., 61, of Point Pleasant, died Sunday, August 21, 2016, at home. He was born May 20, 1955, in Point Pleasant, a son of the late Ralph Franklin Fisher and Goldie Belle (Martin) Fisher. Ralph was a graduate of Point Pleasant High School, served his country in the United States Marine Corps and retired from GKN with 40 years service as a machine operator. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Stacy Michelle Fisher; and four brothers, Raymond Fisher, Daniel Fisher, Donald Martin and David Fisher. He is survived by his wife, Darlene Sue (Hazelwood) Fisher of Point Pleasant; three daughters, Jennifer Withers of Oak Hill, OH, Jillian (Ronald) Flory of Apple Grove and Melissa Fisher and Steven Heib of Apple Grove; and five grandchildren, Kirsten Withers, Ashlie Flory, Brett Flory, Lauryn Heib and Kaitlyn Heib. Also surviving are three sisters, Linda Willet of Point Pleasant, Joane Patterson of Gallipolis Ferry and Sue Fisher of Henderson; three brothers, Michael Fisher of Point Pleasant, Carl (Debbie) Gillispie of Letart, WV and Roger Fisher of Delaware, OH. A private graveside service and burial will be held at Kirkland Memorial Gardens in Point Pleasant, with Rev. Carl "Boxer" Swisher officiating. Military graveside rites will be given by American Legion Post 23 of Point Pleasant. Arrangements are under the direction of Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant.
