Ralph Ceward Calvert Jr.

Ralph Ceward Calvert Jr., 78, of Racine, OH, passed away at home Monday, December 23, 2024.

He was born November 30, 1946, in Gallipolis, OH, a son of the late Ralph Ceward Calvert and Edythe Dorothy (Joachim) Calvert.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Ron Calvert and John Calvert.

Ralph was a graduate of Pomeroy High School Class of 1965 and an Air Force veteran. He was also a member of the Ohio Harness Horseman Association. Ralph retired from the Mountaineer Power Plant.

He is survived by his wife, Pamela Jean (Stewart) Calvert of Racine; a daughter and son-in-law, Kimberly Kaye and Kent Wolfe of Syracuse, OH; three grandchildren, Tanner (Tehya Ramage) Roush, Sydney Roush and Ivy McClain; and one brother, Gary Calvert of Dayton, OH.

There will be no public services.  Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant.
