Rachel Diane Wears

Rachel Diane Wears, 43, of Southside, WV, passed away Wednesday, February 17, 2021, at home. She was born September 3, 1977, in Port Huron, MI, a daughter of Kenneth Wayne Brogan of Southside and the late Cheryl Joan (Fleming) Brogan. Rachel was a homemaker and attending Strayer University. She is survived in addition to her father, by her husband, Wesley Lee Wears of Southside; children, Niles Brogan and fiancee Carley Stapleton of Southside, Hope Derenberger of Southside, Noah Derenberger of Southside, Kenneth Wears of Southside and Shane Wears of Southside; one grandchild, Milan Brogan of Southside; a sister, Rhonda Brogan of Southside; and two brothers, Ken (Mary) Brogan of Hesperia, MI and Wayne Brogan of Wooster, OH. A funeral service will be 1 p.m. Friday, February 26, 2021, at Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, with Nathan Dewitt officiating.Burial will follow at the Henderson Cemetery in Henderson.The family will receive friends two hours prior to the funeral service Friday at the funeral home.
