Phyllis Mae Bonecutter, 80, of Gallipolis Ferry, passed away Tuesday, November 16, 2021, at home surrounded by her family. She was born October 7, 1941, in Arlee, WV, a daughter of the late Everett Lewis Jordan and Carrie Marie (Dye) Jordan. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Danny Lee Bonecutter; brothers, Harry Jordan, Ralph Jordan, Johnny Jordan and Bucky Jordan; sisters, Helen Myers, Ruby Rasor, Reba Marcum and Beulah Bechtle; and father-in-law and mother-in-law, Dan "Curly" and Millie Bonecutter. Phyllis was a member of the Gospel Tabernacle where she served as secretary for several years.She was a homemaker and graduate of Point Pleasant High School Class of 1960. She is survived by her children, Lana and Kevin Riffle of Gallipolis Ferry, Lisa Henry and Steve Gates of Gallipolis, OH and Danny and Tonya Bonecutter of Gallipolis Ferry; nine grandchildren, Kendra (Ned) Park, Travis Riffle(Katie Kalusa), Craig (Heather) Henry, Brandan (Cynthia) Henry, Kaitlyn Henry (Tristan Austin), Kaci (Christian) Pyles, Karson Bonecutter (Hunter Trent), Kenlee Bonecutter and Kadann Bonecutter; and great-grandchildren, Macyn, Myla, Brady, Ian, Brynlee and one on the way.She is also survived by a sister, Jewell (Harold) Durst of Gallipolis Ferry; three brothers, Willie (Ellen) Jordan of Gallipolis Ferry, Jim (Ruby) Jordan of Gallipolis Ferry and Donald Jordan of Gallipolis Ferry; and a brother-in-law, Ronnie (Linda) Bonecutter of Gallipolis Ferry. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, November 21, 2021, at the Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, with Pastor David Washington and Rev. Bert Flora officiating.Burial will follow at the Lewis Cemetery in Gallipolis Ferry.The family will receive friends two hours prior to the funeral service Sunday at the funeral home.
