Penny Ann Swisher

Penny A. Swisher, 67, of Point Pleasant, passed away Monday, July 18, 2016, at home. She was born June 21, 1949, in Gallipolis, a daughter of the late Bruce E. Dennis and Sybil A. (Wood) Dennis. Penny was a graduate of Point Pleasant High School Class of 1967 and the Gallipolis Business College. She retired as Executive Secretary for Special Education from the Mason County Board of Education. She is survived by her husband, Jeff L. Swisher of Point Pleasant; a daughter and son-in-law, Sherri and Keith Lewis of Gallipolis; one son, Jay Swisher of Point Pleasant; three grandchildren, Sean (Anna) Lewis, Noel Swisher and Tyler Swisher; and a great-granddaughter, Aria Lewis. Also surviving are one sister and brother-in-law, Margie and David Watson of Point Pleasant; and two nieces, Holli (Mike) Rollins and Heather (Tommy) Fallon. A funeral service will be 2 p.m. Friday, July 22, 2016, at Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, with Ronnie Cremeans officiating. Burial will follow at Suncrest Cemetery in Point Pleasant.
