Peggy Louise Jones

Peggy L. Jones, 67, of Gallipolis Ferry, passed away Saturday, June 24, 2023, at home surrounded by family.

She was born November 4, 1955, in Point Pleasant, a daughter of the late Clarence F. "Buddy" Chapman and Melinda Ilene (Bonecutter) Chapman.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Carolyn Denny; and two brothers, James Chapman and Mitchell Chapman.

Peggy is survived by her husband of 50 years, Ernie L. Jones; daughters and sons-in-law, Amber and Justin Wray and Tiffany and Ryan Mallette; grandchildren, Hayley, Kylee and Josalynn Wray and Zoey Mallette.  She is also survived by sisters, Vicki Pearson, June Price, Donna "Gidget" Bush and Linda (Robbie) Davis; brothers, Dusty (Gail) Chapman, Bruce (Michelle) Chapman and Charlie (Naomi) Chapman; and a special friend, Debra "Aunt Mae" Thevenin.

Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, June 27, 2023, at the Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant.  Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
