Peggy Joan Duncan

Peggy Joan Duncan, 82, of Point Pleasant, passed away Wednesday, March 15, 2023, at Pleasant Valley Hospital in Point Pleasant.

She was born February 7, 1941, in Cameo, WV, a daughter of the late Luther A. Price and Malinda A. (Hooten) Price.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Larry Ogier; sister, Janice Powell; infant brother, Larry Michael Price; infant sister, Brenda Kay Price; granddaughter, Kourtney Lynn Fisher Higginbotham; and a grandson, Jeremy Ray Ogier.

Peggy was a homemaker and a Christian for many years.

She is survived by a son, David (Kim) Duncan of Point Pleasant; daughters, Paula Fisher (George Lawrence) of Long Bottom, OH and Teresa Duncan (fiancé Tony Turner) of Pompano Beach, FL; grandchildren, Kimberly (John) Ambrose of Marietta, OH, Brenton Barnette of Point Pleasant, Olyvia Duncan of Point Pleasant and Jaxon Turner of Pompano Beach, FL; and several great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, March 19, 2023, at the Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, with Pastor Charlie Dabney and Timmy Plantz officiating.  Burial will follow at Apple Grove Memorial Gardens in Apple Grove.  The family will receive friends two hours prior to the funeral service Sunday, at the funeral home.
