Paulyne "Nana" Bright, 92, of Columbus, Ohio, died Wednesday, April 2, 2008 at the Pleasant Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Point Pleasant. Paulyne was a homemaker and member of St. Peters Lutheran Church of Point Pleasant, a life time member of the V.F.W. Auxiliary #3424 of Columbus, the American Legion Auxiliary Post #23 of Point Pleasant, Moose Lodge #731 of Point Pleasant, and a former member of the Pleasant Valley Hospital Auxiliary. She was born October 1, 1915 in Ashley, North Dakota to the late John Hoffmann and Margretha (Opp) Hoffmann. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Aaron Bright; two sons, Wayne Bright and Roger Bright; three sisters; three brothers, and a son-in-law, Richard Sheasby. Surviving are her daughters, Patti (Jim) McPherson of Gallipolis Ferry, and Judy Sheasby of Columbus, Ohio; a son, Ardell (Phyllis) Henneberg of Columbus, Ohio; one brother, Adolph Hoffmann of Richardson, Texas; 7 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren; and her loving companion, Paul Harley of Columbus, Ohio. The family will receive friends Saturday, April 5, 2008 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. at the Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant. Burial will be in the Forest Hill Cemetery at Letart, WV. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the St. Peters Lutheran Church of Point Pleasant, or Pleasant Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation Center Auxiliary.
