Pauline Virginia Pullins

Pauline Pullins, 93, of Westerville, Ohio, formerly of Point Pleasant and Milton, WV, died May 30, 2008 at The Village At Westerville Nursing Center. She was born August 3, 1914 in Mason County, WV a daughter of the late Owen and Anna Yeager. Pauline was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She loved children and was happiest when doing something for others. She was a member of Heights United Methodist Church in Point Pleasant, teaching in the childrens Sunday School for many years. Retired in 1989 from the Mason County Clerks Office, after more than 25 years. Lived in Milton from 1989 until 1999, a member of Bethesda United Methodist Church in Ona. Moved to The Village At Westerville Assisted Living in 1999. Pauline was preceded in death by her husband, Clayton Pullins in September 1981 after 43 years of marriage. Also, by one brother, Stanley Yeager, and two sisters, Mabel Yeager and Eunice Bell. She is survived by her loving family, one son and daughter-in-law, Charles (Bud) and Kelly Pullins of Westerville, OH; a daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Herb Sayre of Milton, WV; three grandchildren, Cathy (Darrell) Jordan of Tifton, GA, Chad Pullins and Beth (Chad) Compton, of Westerville, OH, three great-grandchildren, Kelli Jordan, Brian Jordan, Alexis Compton; and many nieces, nephews, and dear friends. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 3, 2008 at the Wilcoxen Funeral Home with Pastor Janice Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the Suncrest Cemetery in Point Pleasant. Visitation will be from 12 Noon till service time Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Foundation, St. Jude's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
