Patricia Madolyn Stearns

Patricia M. Stearns, 81, of Point Pleasant, passed away Friday, March 15, 2024, at Rivers Health in Point Pleasant.

She was born July 21, 1942, a daughter of the late Charles C. Wedge and Donna V. (Massie) Wedge.

Patricia was a member of Heights United Methodist Church in Point Pleasant.  She was a graduate of Point Pleasant High School, Class of 1960 and the Gallipolis Junior Business College.  She retired from the Law Office of Randy Morgan in Point Pleasant.

She is survived by her husband of 60 years, James S. "Jim" Stearns of Point Pleasant; children, Teresa Stearns of Point Pleasant, Michael and Pam Stearns of Leon and Leslie and Matthew Ball of Apple Grove; grandchildren, Samantha Lynn (Andrew) Bush, Charles Samuel (Rebecca) Stearns, Karli Paige Farr, Ronald Abram Stearns, Kerigan Alyse Blake and Casby Jameson Ball; four great grandchildren; and a sister, Judy Darst of Point Pleasant.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 19, 2024, at the Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, with Pastor Charles Marker officiating.  Burial will follow at Kirkland Memorial Gardens in Point Pleasant.  The family will receive friends two hours prior to the funeral service Tuesday at the funeral home.
