Otho "Bay" Mcdaniel Likens

Otho "Bay" McDaniel Likens, 86, of Henderson, died Wednesday, May 4, 2011 at Holzer Medical Center in Gallipolis, Ohio. He was born February 5, 1925 in Henderson, WV, a son of the late Joseph M. Likens and Leola A. (Clonch) Likens. Bay was a retired rural mail carrier and member of Concord Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Orville Likens and one sister, Lila Leport. Surviving are his wife, Eileen (Roush) Likens of Henderson; a daughter and son-in-law, Shirley and John Birchfield of Gallipolis Ferry; one granddaughter, Aubrey Devin Birchfield of Gallipolis Ferry; a sister, Hazel Neal of Henderson; one brother, Owen (Cora) Likens of Gallipolis Ferry; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m., Saturday, May 7 at the Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant with Pastor Bert Flora officiating. Burial will follow at the Concord Cemetery in Henderson.
