Orval Dewayne Mitchell

Orval Dewayne Mitchell, 92, of Letart, passed away Wednesday, June 2, 2021, at his home. He was born October 16, 1928, in Charleston, WV, a son of the late Ralph Mitchell and Cleila (Duty) Mitchell. Orval was a retired school teacher and enjoyed being outdoors. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Dora Faith Mitchell of Letart; brother and sister-in-law, David and Mary Mitchell of Charleston; sister, Bethel Chapman of Charleston; and special neighbors. A graveside service and burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 5, 2021, at the Hoffman Cemetery in Letart. Arrangements are under the direction of Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant.
