Orum Stanley Baker Jr., 80, of Point Pleasant, passed away Wednesday, May 29, 2019, at home. He was born March 14, 1939, in Charleston, WV, a son of the late Orum S. Baker Sr. and Maxine E. (Bright) Baker. Orum was a graduate of Stonewall Jackson High School. He was an X-ray Technologist for 45 years working in Connecticut, Ohio and West Virginia. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sisters, Barbara Collins and Janet Baker; and one grandchild. He is survived by his wife Wilma, whom he married June 3, 1961; seven children, Michael (Lisa) Baker, Scott Baker, Sarah Marcum, Jenna (Shawn Petrie) Roush, Johanna (Jimmy) McClanahan, Jacob Baker and Max (April) Baker; fourteen grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Pat Wolfer; and several nieces and nephews. A private graveside service and visitation will be held. Burial will be in the Downs Family Cemetery in Point Pleasant. Arrangements are under the direction of Wilcoxen Funeral Home.
