Natalie E. Morgan, 94, passed away Thursday, April 27, 2023, at the Pleasant Valley Healthcare Center in Point Pleasant, after a two year illness.
She was born October 22, 1928, in Leon, a daughter of the late Warren M. and Sceva (Thomas) Stewart.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Billy F. King in 1975 and second husband, E. John Morgan in 2002; a sister, Mabel Morgan; uncle and aunt, William Bill Jividen and wife Lucille; and a daughter-in-law, Stella Morgan.
Natalie attended Leon Elementary and graduated from Point Pleasant High School, Class of 1946. She spent most of her life in Leon, living the past 12 years in New Haven. She owned Kings Grocery in Leon in the 1960's and worked as a Postal Clerk in Leon and Gallipolis Ferry.
She was a longtime member of the Leon United Methodist Church and most recently attended Otter Branch Church at Buffalo, WV when able. She was a member of the Leon Community Educational Outreach Service Club (CEOS) and was honored to be chosen as the Mason County Belle in 2003.
She enjoyed bowling, traveling, camping, NASCAR races and TV Westerns especially her favorite, Gunsmoke.
Natalie is survived by sons, Billy F. King Jr. and wife Kim of Letart, David Morgan and wife Maria of Point Pleasant and Jerry Morgan of Letart; daughters, Linda S. Miller and Clarence Hesson of Point Pleasant, Karen D. Barton and husband Billy Joe of Leon and Jeanne Morgan and Dana Buckley of Parkersburg; 15 grandchildren and multiple great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 2, 2023, at the Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, with Pastor Brian May officiating. Burial will follow in the Leon Cemetery in Leon. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the funeral service Tuesday, at the funeral home.
