Mildred D. "Mick" Jividen Jacobs, 93, of Bidwell, OH, passed away Wednesday, November 20, 2019, at Holzer Medical Center in Gallipolis, OH. She was born January 8, 1926, in Akron, OH, a daughter of the late Ray Hill and Lilly Belle (Stewart) Hill. Mick was a graduate of Point Pleasant High School Class of 1943 and member of Eastern Star #283 of Gallipolis, OH and Triad-S.A.L.T. She was a homemaker and had worked as an EMT for the Gallipolis Volunteer Squad and a Gallipolis Hospice volunteer. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Arnold Ray Jividen and second husband, John Hickman Jacobs; one son, Allen Dean "Lizard" Jividen; a daughter, Sharon Hayes; and one sister, Murlin E. Hartley. She is survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Arnold "Arnie" and Elaine Jividen of Gallipolis and David "Fudd" and Sandy Jividen of Bidwell; two stepsons, Mike (Mary) Jacobs of New Albany, OH and Kenny (Karen) Jacobs of Weirton, OH; one brother, Donnie (Jean) Hill of Leon; a sister, Dottie J. (Ebby) Riffle of Leon; six grandchildren; ten step-grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be 1 p.m. Saturday, November 23, 2019, at Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, with Pastor Warren Baker and Pastor Kenny Jacobs officiating. Burial will follow at Smith Cemetery in Leon. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the funeral service Saturday, at the funeral home.
