Michael David Bragg

Michael David Bragg, 78, of Point Pleasant, passed away Monday, October 11, 2021, at Pleasant Valley Hospital in Point Pleasant. He was born May 17, 1943, in Gallipolis, OH, a son of the late James Morris Bragg Sr. and Margaret Elizabeth (Durbin) Bragg. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, James Morris Bragg Jr. Mike was a graduate of Point Pleasant High School Class of 1961 and served his country honorably in the United States Army.He retired with 29 yrs. service from AKZO Nobel Chemical in Gallipolis Ferry and was a member of the American Legion Post 23 of Point Pleasant. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Nancy L. (Van-in-Wagen) Bragg of Point Pleasant; daughter, Brandi Michelle (Eldon) Powers of Point Pleasant; sons, David E. Bragg and Johnathan (Nichole Smith) Bragg both of Point Pleasant; a grandchild, Dekoda Powers; and two great-grandchildren, Michael Bragg and Aether Bragg; brothers, Larry Bragg of Point Pleasant and Steve (Glenna) Bragg of Clermont, FL; and several nieces and nephews. There will be no public services.Arrangements are under the direction of Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant.
