Mary Maxine Knapp

Mary M. Thomas Knapp, 83, of Point Pleasant, died Thursday, November 2, 2017 at Pleasant Valley Hospital. She was born April 9, 1934, in Leon, WV, a daughter of the late Emmons H. Thomas and Clara B. (Fauver) Thomas. Mary was a graduate of Point Pleasant High School Class of 1953 and a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carl C. Knapp. She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Russell E. and Violet Thomas of Point Pleasant; and numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be 1 p.m. Monday, November 6, 2017, at Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, with Pastor Charles Marker officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hills Cemetery in Letart. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the funeral service Monday at the funeral home.
