Mary Frances Harmon Casto

Mary Frances Harmon Casto, 85, of Leon, passed away Saturday, June 18, 2022, at Pleasant Valley Hospital in Point Pleasant. She was born June 16, 1937, in Henderson, a daughter of the late John F. "Fuzz" Hoffman and Mary Luella (Wooten) Hoffman. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Charles "Pete" Harmon; a daughter, Cindy Meaige; sisters, Betty Cook, Inez Birchfield, and Rosetta M. Hoffman; and a brother, William F. "Tootie" Hoffman. Mary attended Grace Baptist Church in Point Pleasant and was retired from Mason County Schools with 25 plus years as a cook. She is survived by her husband, Roger K. Casto of Leon; daughter and son-in-law, Connie and Jack Edwards of Gallipolis Ferry; and a son and daughter-in-law, Chuck and Vickie Harmon of Henderson.She was blessed with five grandchildren; Michelle (Tracy) Ball, Stephanie (John) Greene, Ryan (Courtney) Edwards, Caela (Dustin) Young and Katelynn (Zach) Nelson; 10 great-grandchildren, BreAnna Hoffman, Nickolas Ball, Kennedi Ball, Alexis Edwards, Audrey Young, Serenity Mallott, Alana Edwards, Bennett Nelson, Aiden Greene and Bradley Ditty; and two great-great-grandchildren, Ella Cynthia Rose Hoffman and Olivia Raelynn Hoffman. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, June 21, 2022, at the Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, with Pastor Jonathan Pinson officiating.Burial will follow at the Concord Cemetery in Henderson.The family will receive friends two hours prior to the funeral service Tuesday at the funeral home.
