Mary Ann Buxton

Mary Ann Buxton, 89, of Point Pleasant, passed away peacefully Friday, January 13, 2017, at Pleasant Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Point Pleasant surrounded by loved ones. She was born December 22, 1927, in Elyria, Ohio, to the late Harry Elmer Berkley and Zella Fay Berkley. Mary Ann leaves behind her husband, Dr. Jack A. Buxton who she married September 17, 1949; three children daughter, Jan B. Lilly, sons Dr. Bradly J. Buxton and Captain Brian S. Buxton and wife Tracey; five grandchildren, Dr. Myra D. Hoffman, Dr. Amber B. Lilly and husband David, Brittany Pamplin and husband John, Brandy Buxton and Deanna Abercrombie; and four great-grandchildren, Cameron Hoffman, MacKenzie Hoffman, Joshua Pierce and Bailey Nelson. A graveside service and burial will be 2 p.m. Sunday, January 15, 2017, at Kirkland Memorial Gardens in Point Pleasant, with Pastor Jim Kelly officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:30-1:30 p.m. Sunday at Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant.
