Martha Eloise Nibert

Martha Eloise (Foster) Nibert, 74, of Point Pleasant, WV died Tuesday, October 9, 2007 at the Holzer Medical Center in Gallipolis, Ohio. Martha was a member of the Mt. Carmel Church of Apple Grove, and was a caretaker with the Mason County Action Group. She was born September 1, 1933 in Huntington, WV to the late Hercie Foster and Lucille (Jenkins) Foster Leffingwell. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a son, Jackie Rose; a sister, Mary Louise Foster; and a brother, Norman Foster. Surviving are her husband, Marshall Nibert of Point Pleasant; and children, Patricia Thornton and Sandra Rose of Gallipolis, Ohio; JoAnna and Steve Brubaker of Lagro, IN; Dale Rose of Gallipolis Ferry, WV; David and Brenda Rose of Servia, IN; Brenda Rose of North Manchester, IN; Norma Jean Rose of IN; and William Edward Foster of New Haven, WV, 19 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and 5 step-grandchildren. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 13, 2007 at the Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant with the Rev. Marshall Bonecutter officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery at Gallipolis Ferry, WV. Visitation will be Friday, October 12 from 6-9 at the funeral home.
