Margaret Ann (Cook) Estep, 73, of West Columbia, passed away Thursday, January 30, 2020, at Lakin Hospital in West Columbia. She was born September 6, 1946, in Anniston, Alabama, a daughter of the late Ernest Monroe Cook and Dorothy May (Vardaman) Cook. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Patricia Jane Armstrong. Margaret is survived by her children, Sharon Bishop of Riverview, FL, Sue Genter of Brandon, FL, James Gingell and Jonathan Gingell of Zepherhills, FL; two sisters, Faye Filowiat of Ponchatoula, LA and Rita Winter Bauer of Springdale, AK; brothers, Billy Cook of Clawson, MI and Wayne Cook of Ponchotoula, LA; six grandchildren, Vanesa, Frankie, Justin, Tony, Kyle and Ashley; and five great-grandchildren, Angelina, Brooke, Kayleigh, Danny and Annie. A funeral service will be 10 a.m. Thursday, February 6, 2020, at the Lakin Chapel in West Columbia, with Pastor Jonathan Pinson officiating. Burial will follow at the Lakin Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral service Thursday at the Lakin Chapel. Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant is in charge of arrangements.
