Mae Francis "Todd" Staub

Mae Francis "Todd" Staub of Gallipolis Ferry, WV died Wednesday, October 26, 2011, at St. Mary's Medical Center in Huntington, WV. She was born October 14, 1917 in Gallipolis Ferry, a daughter of the late Ocean and Lillie Francis (Lambert) Gardner of which she was the oldest and last surviving child. "Todd" was a homemaker and formerly employed by the Sylvania Plant and Quality Manufacturing Company. She attended the Faith Gospel Church in Gallipolis Ferry until she became ill. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Donald "Pete" Gardner, Delmar "Pooch" Gardner, and Kenneth "Buzz" Gardner; and one sister, Lucy "Sue" Thompson. On July 5, 1945 in Gallipolis, Ohio she married Fred Charlie Staub who preceded her in death on June 14, 1998. To this union one child was born, Linda Mae Staub Lambert (William) on May 21, 1948. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, October 29, 2011 at the Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant with Rev. Duane Smith officiating. Burial will follow at the Beale Chapel Cemetery, Apple Grove, WV. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home Saturday.
