Mabel Pauley Shirley

Mabel (Pauley) Shirley, 90, of Point Pleasant, went to be with Jesus, Wednesday, September 9, 2009. She was a member of the Gospel Lighthouse Church in Point Pleasant, and a homemaker. Mabel was born August 4, 1919 in Lincoln County, WV, a daughter of the late Alvie and Maude (Elkins) Pauley. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Pedro Shirley; two sisters; and four brothers. Surviving is two sons, Terry A. (Penny) Shirley of Point Pleasant and Philip P. (Joyce) Shirley of South Point, Ohio; three grandchildren, Patrick Shirley, Jennifer Shirley, and Rebecca (Jason) Roush; and two great grandchildren, Katie Peric and Phoebe Roush. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Friday, September 11, 2009 at Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant with Pastor Isaiah Crump officiating.
