Mabel Loretta "Lorie" Gault

Mabel Loretta "Lorie" Gault, 85, of Lexington, KY, formerly of Pikeville, KY, passed away Friday, June 16, 2023, in Lexington, KY, after a brief illness.

She was born February 19, 1938, in Middlesboro, KY, a daughter of the late Tom Alvey Good and Grace (Hendrickson) Good.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Earl W. Gault.

Lorie was a renowned artist, quilter and designer.

She is survived by her daughter, Leslie Ann Workman of Lexington; Jimmy Workman of Jefferson City, TN; sons, Clint Alley of TN and Brian (Jeri) Alley of Hurricane, WV; sisters, Mary (Vernon) Miracle of New Tazwell, TN and Martha Roush of Louisville, KY; and a large extended family and friends.

Private burial will be held at Kirkland Memorial Gardens in Point Pleasant.  Arrangements are under the direction of Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant.
