Lydia was an excellent seamstress, photographer, gardener, farmer, hunter, and cook. She could make the best fried chicken, potato salad, and golden potato soup. She loved making birthday cakes for her kids and grandkids, and her special ingredient was love. Cookie graduated from Point Pleasant High School in 1967 and then later graduated from Gallipolis Business School. Lydia is survived by her husband Roger as well as their children and spouses Angela and Barry Lanier of Point Pleasant; Jeremy and Lucia Putney of Charlotte, NC.
