Loretta R. Hutchinson

Loretta R. (Rawson) Hutchinson, 81, of Point Pleasant died Wednesday, September 20, 2006 at home. She was born August 21, 1925 in Southside, WV to the late Leslie H. Rawson and Katie Ellen (Hawkins) Rawson. Loretta was a homemaker and was of the Pentecostal faith. In additon to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Doss Edward Hutchinson, Sr.; a son, Doss Edward Hutchinson, Jr.; a daughter, Ruby Hutchinson; a sister, Reba M. Rollins; and two infant siblings, Marion Rawson and Beulah Rawson. Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Beulah L. and Wayne Waugh of Point Pleasant, WV; seven grandchildren, Katie and Larry Schwartz of Leon, WV, April and Jason Matherly of Point Pleasant, James and Cathy Knapp of Point Pleasant, Jacob Knapp of Point Pleasant, Harland Knapp of Point Pleasant, Deanna Hutchinson of California, and Remona Hutchinson of California, two step-grandchildren, Ashley Waugh of Crown City, Ohio and Logan Waugh of Crown City, Ohio; five great grandchildren, Ruby Schwartz, Leslie Schwartz, Cheyann Knapp, Destiny Matherly, and Dawson Matherly; a sister and brother-in-law, Wanda and Jay Hendrick of Lesage, WV, and brothers and sisters-in-law, Rev. Emmett A. and Zora Rawson of Middleport, Ohio, and Donald and Shirley Rawson of Columbus, Ohio, and several nieces and nephews. Services will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, September 24, 2006 at the Wilcoxen Funeral Home with Pastor Anthony Toler officiating. Burial will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery in Letart, WV.
