Lora V. "Ginny" Neal

Lora V. "Ginny" Neal, 85, of Point Pleasant, passed away Tuesday, January 26, 2016, at home. She was born June 6, 1930, in Gallipolis Ferry, a daughter of the late George Edward Yester and Bonnie Mae (Canterbury) Yester-Hinnant. Ginny was a member of Christ Episcopal Church of Point Pleasant. She graduated from Point Pleasant High School Class of 1948, was a member and Past Worthy Matron of Point Pleasant Chapter 75 Order of the Eastern Star and member of Loyal Order of Moose 731 of Point Pleasant. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. "Bob" Neal; a brother, Frank Yester; one sister, Patsy Young; and granddaughter, Andrea Neal. She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, David and Kathy Neal of Gallipolis Ferry and Mike and Marilyn Neal of Wilmington, NC; two granddaughters, Mandy (Michael) Clendenin and Jennifer (Scott) Brandon; and two great-grandsons, Tyler and Trevor Clendenin. A funeral service will be 1 p.m. Saturday, January 30, 2016, at Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, with Point Pleasant Chapter 75 Order of the Eastern Star and Rev. Marie Mulford officiating. Burial will follow at Kirkland Memorial Gardens in Point Pleasant. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the funeral service Saturday at the funeral home.
