Lolita Sue Martin

Lolita Sue Martin, 73, of Gallipolis Ferry, passed away Friday, August 16, 2024, at home.

She was born February 7, 1951, in Charleston, WV, a daughter of the late Melvin A. Cantrell and Margaret M. (Garvin) Cantrell.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Byrdie Cantrell.

Sue was a member of Mount Carmel Church of Gallipolis Ferry and a retired cook from Abbyshire Nursing Home in Bidwell, OH.

She is survived by her husband, Roy Lee Martin of Gallipolis Ferry; children, Sheila L. (Kevin) Jones of Point Pleasant, Diana S. (B.J.) Mitchell of Gallipolis Ferry and Wesley E. Martin of Point Pleasant; six grandchildren, Rachael (Austin) Addiar of Crown City, OH, Stevan Lewis of Gallipolis Ferry, Mariah Jones of Point Pleasant, Kevin E. Jones of Point Pleasant, Tyler Martin of Gallipolis Ferry and Jacob Martin of Gallipolis Ferry.  She is also survived by sisters, Nancy (Fred Copper) Cantrell of Gallipolis Ferry, Juanita Hanning of Gallipolis, OH, Dora Long of Gallipolis, Linda Parriet of Henderson and Brenda Cantrell of Point Pleasant; and three brothers, David (Mary) Cantrell of Lafayette, TN, Terry Cantrell of Gallipolis and Keith Cantrell of Letart, WV.

There will be no public services.  Arrangements are under the direction of Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant.
