Lola Jean (DeMichael) Bonds 68, of Point Pleasant, WV died Monday, September 29, 2008 at Pleasant Valley Hospital in Point Pleasant. She was born March 12, 1940 in New Philadelphia, Ohio to the late Nick and Ruby Mae (McClanahan) DeMichael. Lola attended the Willing Heart Outreach for Christ Church and the Lifeline Apostolic Church of Point Pleasant, and was a former employee of Federal Mogul in Gallipolis, Ohio. Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Debra and Kevin Farrar of Stone Creek, Ohio; son and daughter-in-law, James and Lora Persinger of Point Pleasant; six grandchildren, Rachael Hardbarger, Jennifer Miller, Sarah Martin, Anthony L. Contini, April Persinger, and Ryan Williams; three great grandchildren, Andrew Martin, Austin Hardbarger, and Lyela Jane Miller; brother, Robert N. DeMichael of Woodhaven, Michigan; sister, Patricia Kinsey of New Philadelphia, Ohio; and six nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Thursday, October 2 from 6-8 p.m. at the Wilcoxen Funeral Home. Funeral service will be at 8:00 p.m. with Pastor Charles Birchfield officiating. Additional visitation will be Friday, October 3 from 1-3 p.m. at the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home in New Philadelphia.
