Linda M. Raike

Linda M. Raike, 88, of Gallipolis Ferry, passed away Monday, February 13, 2023 at home.

She was born November 24, 1934, in Gallipolis Ferry, a daughter of the late Charles L. Rulen and Alice M. (Canterbury) Rulen.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard D. Raike; son, Jeffrey A. Raike; and brothers, Charles W. Rulen and Dale "Sanders" Rulen.

Linda was a member of Faith Gospel Church in Gallipolis Ferry.  She was a graduate of Point Pleasant High School Class of 1952 and retired from Mason County Schools, as secretary at Beale Elementary.

She is survived by a daughter, Angie Raike of Columbia, SC; sister, Carolyn "Buckles" Hinson of Gallipolis Ferry; brother, Harold Rulen of Hurricane, WV; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

A graveside service and burial will be held at 12:30 p.m. Thursday, February 16, 2023, at the Raike Family Cemetery in Gallipolis Ferry, with Pastor David Grigsby and Chuck Harmon officiating.  Arrangements are under the direction of Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant.
