Linda Sue Hood

Linda Sue (Allen) Hood, 56, of Henderson,WV, died Monday, February 22, 2010 at St. Marys Medical Center. She was a homemaker and a 1971 graduate of Wayne High School, Wayne, WV. Linda was born June 12, 1953 in Huntington, WV to the late Claude Eugene Allen Sr. and Mary Frances (Ward) Allen. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Hood. Surviving are her daughters, Mary Sue Hood of Gallipolis, OH and Melissa Faye Wheatley and husband Jason of Catlettsburg, KY; two sisters, Frances Dale Ball and husband Frank of Catlettsburg, KY and Ruby Sharon Nance and husband Chuck of Gallipolis, OH; two brothers, Claude E. Allen Jr. and wife Bessie of Catlettsburg, KY and Randy Allen and wife Annie of Columbus, OH. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, February 27, 2010 at the Swan Creek Cemetery, Crown City, OH.
