Linda Lou Gandee, 59, of Leon, went home to be with the Lord Saturday, December 28, 2019, at the Pleasant Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Point Pleasant. She was born June 2, 1960, in Columbus, OH, a daughter of the late Gerrell Lee DeWeese and Catherine Margaret (Hart) DeWeese. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Macy Lynn Gandee. Linda was a member of Harvey Chapel Church in Leon. She had worked as an office manager for Ambrosia Machine Shop for 22 years and Letart Machine for six years. She enjoyed spending time with her family and watching football, especially the Ohio State Buckeyes. She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Keith H. Gandee whom she married June 2, 1989; her children, Seth and Sarah; a brother, Jerry; nephews, Nathaniel and Tristan; aunt, Linda (DeWeese) and an uncle Erkie Matheny of Columbus, OH. A funeral service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, December 31, 2019, at Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, with Pastor Randy Parsons officiating. Burial will follow at the Mount Zion Cemetery in Leon.
