Linda Bright

Linda (Litchfield) Bright, 58 of Southside, died Wednesday, March 24, 2010 at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio. She was born January 25, 1952 in Apple Grove, a daughter of the late Charles W. "Doc" Litchfield and Wilma Ardeth (Henry) Litchfield. Linda was a homemaker and a member of the Harmony Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald "Bub" Lee Bright; a sister, Bonnie Litchfield; and two brothers, Bill Litchfield and Larry Litchfield. Surviving are her children, Charles (Serena) Bright of Henderson, Phillip (Robin) Bright of Southside, Christopher (Wilma) Bright of Gallipolis Ferry, Cody Bright of Southside, Peggy Bright of Scott Depot and Bridget (David) Ball of Apple Grove; four sisters, Ann Gillispie of Gallipolis Ferry, Frances (James) Jeffers of Southside, Rose (Perry) Jeffers of Southside, Thelma (Ed) Workman of Point Pleasant; four brothers, Randy Litchfield of Gallipolis Ferry, Charles Litchfield, Jr. of Henderson, Jerry (Laurie) Litchfield of Gallipolis Ferry, and David Litchfield of Southside; 10 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, March 28, 2010 at Wilcoxen Funeral Home with J.R. Vance officiating. Burial will follow in the Harmony Cemetery in Southside.
