Lila R. Leport

Lila Rose Leport, 80, of Henderson, WV, died Saturday, August 29, 2009 at Holzer Medical Center in Gallipolis, Ohio. She was born February 16, 1929 in Gallipolis Ferry, WV, daughter of the late Joseph M. Likens and Leola Ann (Clonch) Likens. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Cheryl Lynn Leport; a son, Ernest Michael Leport Sr.; and a brother, Orville Likens. Surviving is her husband, Ernest "Jr." Leport of Henderson; a daughter and son-in-law, Patricia A. and John Robinson of Henderson; one sister, Hazel Neal of Henderson; two brothers, Owen (Cora) Likens of Gallipois Ferry, and Otho (Eileen) Likens of Henderson; five grandchildren; and fifteen great grandchildren. Funeral services will be 1 p.m., Tuesday, September 1, 2009 at the Wilcoxen Funeral Home with Rev. Bert Flora officiating. Burial will follow in the Concord Cemetery at Henderson.
