Lester S. Stewart

Lester S. Stewart, 89, of Racine, OH, formerly of Mason, WV, passed away Wednesday, November 4, 2015, at home. He was born April 19, 1926, in West Columbia, WV, a son of the late Harry H. Stewart and Mary (Williams) Stewart. Lester had worked for Evans Grocery as a refrigeration repairman and was the owner of Les's Carry Out and Grocery in Mason for many years. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Lillian M. Stewart; two brothers, Raymond Stewart and Herman Stewart; and one sister Mary Margaret Holley. He is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Pamela J. and Ralph Calvert of Racine; granddaughter, Kimberly (Kent) Wolfe of Syracuse, OH; three great-grandchildren, Tanner Roush, Sydney Roush, and Ivy McClain; and a sister, Doris Jean Stewart of Racine. There will be no public services. A private burial will be at Kirkland Memorial Gardens in Point Pleasant. Arrangements are under the direction of Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant.
