Leota B. Taylor 97, of Point Pleasant died Saturday, April 8, 2006 at home. She was born December 20, 1908 in Point Pleasant to the late Franklin A. Morrison and Lucy B. (Warner) Morrison. Leota was a homemaker and a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Point Pleasant and former employee of the Quality Manufacturing and Yunker Manufacturing where she was supervisor in the sewing department. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by husbands, Fredrick Roush, and Robert W. Taylor; son, Samuel Roush; grandson Samuel Roush II; six sisters; and two brothers. Her daughter-in-law, Mrs. Elsie Ann Roush of Point Pleasant; sister Freda Miller of Bidwell, Ohio; brother, Ercell Morrison of Cary, NC; two grandchildren, Amy Roush and Matthew Roush; five great grandchildren; and two great great grandsons and a host of nieces and nephews survive her. The ladies who took care of her during the past few years also became her special friends, they are Kim Boles, Anita Turner, Sonya Price, Joy Pachowit and Sylvia Plants all of Point Pleasant. Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 11, 2006 at the Wilcoxen Funeral Home with Father Regis Schlick and Rev. Larry Morrison officiating.
