Lena May Robinson

Lena May Robinson, 84, of Point Pleasant, closed her eyes and woke up in the arms of Jesus, Monday, December 31, 2018. She was born December 11, 1934. Lena is survived by her husband of 62 years, James Orval Robinson; a son and daughter-in-law, Roger James and Kim Robinson of Heath, OH; and one grandson, Brian James and Dr. Shannon Robinson of Franklin, TN. Lena was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church of Point Pleasant. She was a graduate of nursing school, stay at home mother and child care provider for 30 years. Lena loved all the children she cared for and considered them and their families as her family. Lena's kind heart and loving ways will always be remembered. She loved to show God's love and grace to everyone she met. Her work on earth is done. With the touch of the master's hand, she has gone home. A funeral service will be 1 p.m. Friday, January 4, 2019, at Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, with Pastor James Kelly officiating. Burial will follow at Kirkland Memorial Gardens in Point Pleasant. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the funeral service Friday at the funeral home.
