Leah H. Henry

Leah H. Henry, 72, of Point Pleasant died Tuesday, November 18, 2008 at St. Mary's Medical Center in Huntington, WV. Leah was a homemaker, member of the Trinity United Methodist Church, and the Order of Eastern Star #75 of Point Pleasant. She was born February 9, 1936 in West Columbia, WV to the late Kenneth Shelton Love and Therma Bernice (Roseberry) Love. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Christopher Chreed Evans. Surviving are her husband of 54 years, Brookie Henry of Point Pleasant; two daughters and sons-in-law, Sharon and Mike Terry of Point Pleasant; and Julie and Tim Boone of Proctorville, OH; granddaughters, Abbey Terry of Mooresville, NC, Laura Evans of Lexington, KY, and Megan Evans of Proctorville; a brother and sister-in-law, James and Elizabeth Love of Point Pleasant, and special friends, Jean Jewell and Barbara Trout. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m., Friday, November 21, 2008 at the Wilcoxen Funeral Home with Rev. Richard DeQuasie officiating. Burial will follow in the Suncrest Cemetery in Point Pleasant. Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
