Leah Opal Baker

Leah Opal Baker, 92 of Point Pleasant, died Thursday, December 14, 2006 at Sunbridge Care & Rehabilitation of Winfield, WV. Leah was a homemaker. Leah was born August 13, 1914 in Leon, WV to the late Orville Baker and Katie (Schultz) Baker. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one brother, Loyed Baker; and one sister, Gusta Baker. Surviving are one sister-in-law, Helen Fowler of Winfield, WV; one niece, Linda Buckalew of Winfield, WV and one nephew; Marvin Baker of Grove City, OH. Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, December 16, 2006 at the Creston Cemetery, Leon, WV with the Rev. Johnny Hayman officiating. Burial will follow graveside service. There will be no visitation per Leah's request. Arrangements are under the direction of the Wilcoxen Funeral Home.
