Lawrence Eugene "Larry" Hudson

Lawrence Eugene "Larry" Hudson, 84, of Point Pleasant, passed away Monday, February 24, 2025, at home.

He was born November 9, 1940, in Henderson, WV, a son of the late Chester Oliver Hudson and June Virginia (Spencer) Hudson.

Larry was a graduate of Point Pleasant High School Class of 1958. He was a member of Jackson Avenue Baptist Church and a Deacon.  Larry was a retired Chemical Operator from Goodyear, a US Army Veteran and a lifelong farmer of the Hudson Never Done Farm.

He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Patricia Sue "Patty" (Reynolds) Hudson; a son, Brerry (Amy) Hudson of Charleston, WV; three grandchildren, Drew (Meredith) Hudson of Point Pleasant, Danielle (Stephen) Sanders of Point Pleasant and Joshua (Jordan) Moore of Raleigh, NC; four great grandchildren, Jack Hudson, Leo Sanders, Bowen Sanders and Riley Moore;  two sisters, Judy Jones of Cheshire, OH and Susie Miller of Point Pleasant; three brothers, Les Roger (Connie) Hudson of Cheshire, OH, John (Patty) Hudson of Middleport, OH and Clay Hudson of Gallipolis, OH; and a special thanks to Pat Christner for her care and help with Larry.

A funeral service will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, February 26, 2025, at the Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, with Pastor Joe Nott officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral service on Wednesday at the funeral home. A private family burial will be on Thursday, February 27, 2025, at Kirkland Memorial Gardens in Point Pleasant.
