Larry Don "L.D." Pyles Jr.

Larry Don "L.D." Pyles Jr., 54, of Gallipolis Ferry, passed away Thursday, April 13, 2023, at home.

He was born September 23, 1968, in Gallipolis, OH, a son of the late Patricia A. Pyles and Larry D. Pyles Sr. of Gallipolis Ferry.

L.D. was a member of New Hope Bible Baptist Church in Point Pleasant.  He was a graduate of Point Pleasant High School Class of 1986 and manager of French City Foodservice in Gallipolis.

In addition to his father Larry, he is survived by his wife of 35 years, Pam A. (Evick) Pyles of Gallipolis Ferry; sons and daughters-in-law, Tre and Jessi Pyles, Christian and Kaci Pyles and Chad and Amanda Evick all of Gallipolis Ferry; and seven grandchildren, Adison, Jackson, Lane, Luke, Trennon, Briar and Landry.  He is also survived by sisters and brothers-in-law, LaDonna and Howie Carr of Gallipolis Ferry and Renee and Matthew Fortuna of Destin, FL; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Cody and Helen Evick of Franklin, WV; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Rock and Sheila Evick of Franklin, WV and Patrick and Elizabeth Evick of Harrisonburg, VA; and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 18, 2023, at the Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, with Joe Welsh officiating. Burial will follow at the Concord Cemetery in Henderson.  Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Monday, at the funeral home.
