Larry Clifford Chapman

Larry Clifford Chapman, 66, of Gallipolis Ferry, WV, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, April 10, 2015 at home. He was born October 31, 1948, in Milton, WV, a son of the late Harvey Chapman and Elevena (Meadows) Chapman. Larry was a retired security guard with Guardsmark and an ordained minister of the gospel. He loved to go to church to praise and worship his Saviour, Jesus Christ. He will be sadly missed by family and friends. He is survived by his wife, Gale (Wallis) Chapman of Gallipolis Ferry; two sons, Rodney (Denise) Chapman of Milton, Greg Chapman of Kenova; one daughter, Kimberly Keeney of Milton; four grandchildren; five brothers, Charles Chapman of Milton, Keith (Rita) Chapman of Ashton, Otho (Quilla) Chapman of Milton, Darrell Chapman of Milton and Ronnie (Bonnie) Chapman of Hurricane; three sisters, Linda (Arnold) Reynolds of Milton, Lorene (Earl) Shull of Milton and Serena (Chuck) Hibner of Ona. A funeral service will be 11 a.m. Monday, April 13, 2015, at Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, with Pastor Ted Glassburn and Pastor Calvin Minnis officiating. Burial will follow at Zion Cemetery in Gallipolis Ferry. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
