Kimberly Jill Scarberry

Kimberly Jill Scarberry, 37, of Apple Grove, passed away Tuesday, September 7, 2021, at home. She was born February 20, 1984, in Point Pleasant, a daughter of Edward A. "Joe" Watterson and Wanda Gail (Leport) Watterson of Apple Grove. Kim was a graduate of Point Pleasant High School Class of 2002 and a cashier for the Piggly Wiggly Store in Point Pleasant. She was preceded in death by her husband, John William Scarberry Jr.; maternal grandparents, William A. and Augusta (Robinson) Leport; and paternal grandparents, George A. and Shirley A. (Meadows) Watterson. In addition to her parents, Joe and Wanda, she is survived by a son, Brayden Scarberry of Apple Grove; stepdaughter, Brianna (Kasey) Scarberry of Barboursville; a grandson, Wyatt Scarberry of Barboursville; sisters, Jessica (Josh) Riffle of Point Pleasant and Jenna Watterson of Apple Grove; nieces and nephews, Ava Riffle, Emma Riffle, Tristen Shuler and Trinten Shuler; and multiple uncles, aunts and cousins. A private celebration of life service will be held at the Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, at the convenience of the family, with Rev. Russell Stover officiating.
