Kevin Russell Nott

Kevin Russell Nott, 51, of Point Pleasant, passed away Tuesday, January 4, 2022 after a long illness. He was born November 12, 1970, in Gallipolis, OH, son of Rusty Nott and Karen Randolph. Kevin was a graduate of Point Pleasant High School Class of 1989 and Marshall University.He was general manager of Big River Radio and worked 25 plus years for Big Country Radio and Q FM.For many years he announced the Big Blacks football home games.He was always ready for football Friday nights. He was preceded in death by his special sister, Sarah Nott, and lots of family that passed before him. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his loving wife, Nicole Renee (Hammack) Nott; daughter, Carly Nott of Huntington, WV; sons, Cameron and Cain Nott of Point Pleasant; grandmother, Hazel Ewing of Point Pleasant; sister, Vickie Lynn Bale of Point Pleasant and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and a hometown full of friends. We are sure he is up there saying, "Let's Go Big Blacks" # 11. A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. Friday, January 7, 2022, at the Point Pleasant High School Gymnasium with Rev. Randy Parsons officiating.Following the service there will be a time of visitation until 9 p.m.Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant is in charge of arrangements.
