Kevin Dean Capehart, 59, of New Haven, WV, went home to be with his Lord Saturday, October 31, 2015, at Ohio State University Hospital, Columbus, OH. He was born April 29, 1956, in Point Pleasant, a son of the late Lloyd Herbert Capehart and Betty N. (Shinn) Capehart of New Haven, WV. Kevin was a member of First Baptist Church of Mason, WV, graduated from Point Pleasant High School Class of 1975, and retired as produce manager from Twin Rivers Foodland in Point Pleasant. He was a born again Christian who loved life, laughter, and a joke with family and co-workers. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by one sister, Debbie Ray. He is survived by his mother, Betty N. (Shinn) Capehart of New Haven; sisters and brothers-in-law, Lynette (Joe) Johnson of New Haven, Kelley (Mark) Bell of Leon, WV, and Alan Ray of Cayuga, IN; nieces and nephews, Cheryl (Adam) Burge of Winona, MN, Dr. Matthew (Kelly) Ray of Menomonie, WI, Scott Johnson of New Haven, Aaron Bell of Lynchburg, VA and Christopher Bell of Cedarville, OH; and great niece and nephews, Audrey Burge, Caleb Burge, Luke Ray, and Seth Ray. A funeral service will be 11 a.m., Wednesday, November 4, 2015, at First Baptist Church in Mason, with Pastor Mark Bell and Pastor Rob Grady officiating. Burial will follow at Leon Cemetery in Leon.
