Keith Alan Hill, 72, of Point Pleasant, died Saturday, September 24, 2016, at Pleasant Valley Hospital, in Point Pleasant. He was born November 15, 1943, in Point Pleasant, a son of the late Lewis Parker Hill and Freda (Myers) Hill. Keith was a graduate of Point Pleasant High School Class of 1961 and served his country honorably in the United States Air Force. During his working career he was employed at the Pantasote Chemical Plant, owned Rardin's Shoe Store, co-owned Zembry's Florist in Point Pleasant and was a Certified Public Landman. He was a member of Masonic Lodge No. 19 A.F. and A.M. of Point Pleasant, Scottish Rite and Beni Kedem Shrine of Charleston. He also held memberships in the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 731, Legion of the Moose 731 of Point Pleasant, American Legion Post 23 of Point Pleasant and Fraternal Order of Eagles in Pomeroy, OH. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant brother, Charles Brian Hill. He is survived by his wife, Mareia M. (Wamsley) Hill of Point Pleasant; one son and daughter-in-law, Keith Alan "Boozer" Hill Jr. and wife Denise of Howell, Michigan; a daughter and son-in-law, Angela (Hill) Purchase and husband Dan of Point Pleasant; step-daughter, Martha Louise Burnup of Deltona, Florida; step-son, Darin Eugene Bostic and wife Sherry of Deland, Florida; 15 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are two sisters, Jean (Hill) Rardin and husband Bill of Englewood, Florida and Eva (Hill) Armantrout and husband Ray of Point Pleasant; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Jay and Juanita Sheridan of Grand Haven, Michigan, David and Sharon Wamsley of Washington Court House, Ohio, Paul and Sheila Rollins of Point Pleasant, Timothy and Linda Wamsley of Gallipolis Ferry and Nick and Kay Bostick of Bidwell, Ohio; special friends, Joey and Addie Roberts and Gary and Nancy Taylor; several nieces and nephews; and his precious Yorkie, Bentley. A funeral service will be 1 p.m. Thursday, September 29, 2016, at Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, with Pastor Dean Warner officiating. Burial will follow at Pisgah Cemetery in Gallipolis Ferry with military graveside rites given by Wright-Patterson Air Force Base Honor Guard and American Legion Post 23 of Point Pleasant. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the funeral service Thursday at the funeral home.
