Kathy Jean (Goodman) Kreiser, 68, of Wheeling, WV, entered into rest on January 8, 2022 at her home with her husband and family by her side, after years of courageously battling debilitating illness. Kathy was born on August 18, 1953 in Point Pleasant, WV.She was the daughter of the late James Glen Goodman and Rosetta (Huddleston) Goodman.In addition to her parents, Kathy was preceded in death by her son, Luther Scott Greenlee II, and siblings Sandra Cwiertniewicz, James Glen Goodman, Jr.Diana Neal, Joanne Fillinger and Connie Parsons.Kathy was also predeceased by her father-in-law, Foster E. Kreiser and mother-in-law, Tokiko Kreiser. Kathy was married to the love of her life, Dwight D. Kreiser for 28 years.Dwight met Kathy, his beautiful, fun-loving hairdresser, in Point Pleasant and they had a wonderful life together.They lived in West Virginia, Ohio, Kentucky, and Colorado before making Wheeling, WV their final residence. Kathy enjoyed time with her family, traveling, dining out, playing cards, fishing on the Ohio and Kanawha Rivers, casinos, and watching her grandsons participate in their activities.Kathy especially enjoyed watching Scotty’s football and lacrosse games from her special viewing area by the end zone.Kathy adored her grandsons.They brought pure joy to her life and she was so proud of them. Kathy is survived by her husband Dwight of Wheeling WV, sister Shirley Leport of Point Pleasant, WV, sister Lisa Goodman of Point Pleasant, WV, daughter Micah Meaige of Wheeling, WV, grandson Michael Scott Meaige (Scotty) of Orlando, FL, grandson Aaron Chase Jordan (Chase)of Wheeling WV, sister-in-law Linda Kreiser of Middletown, PA, brother-in-law Foster E. Kreiser, Jr. of Middletown, PA and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 23, 2022, at the Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, with Rev. Mark Mayes officiating.Burial will follow in the Kirkland Memorial Gardens in Point Pleasant.
