Kathryn L. Neal

Kathryn L. Neal, 87, of Leon, WV died Tuesday, May 2, 2006 at the Pleasant Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Point Pleasant. She was born October 23, 1918 in Leon, WV to the late Burwell and Flora (Kay) McKinney. She was a homemaker, protestant and a member of the Buffalo Senior Center. In addition to her parents she was proceded in death by her husband, Gilbert Neal; a daughter and son-in-law, Bobbie and Bill Pierce; sisters, Mary Keefer and Zelda Bernard; brother, Bud McKinney; and a grandchild. Surviving are her children, Nancy (Gene) Stone of Columbus, Ohio; Jackie (Hursel) Stone of Columbus, Ohio; Jim (Jackie) Neal of Circleville, Ohio; Kitty (Arnie) Severn of Leon, WV; Richard (Vicki) Neal of Leon, WV, a brother-in-law, Greely (Janie) Neal of Kanauga, Ohio, 18 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, and 6 great-great-grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews, and special caregivers. Funeral Services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 5, 2006 at the Wilcoxen Funeral Home with Rev. Herman Jordan and Rev. Lee Absten officiating. Burial will follow in the Suncrest Cemetery in Point Pleasant. Visitation will be Thursday, May 4, 2006 from 6-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
