Kathleen M. Rulen

Kathleen M. (Raike) Rulen, 84, of Culloden, WV formerly of Gallipolis Ferry, passed away Monday, March 27, 2017, at the Cabell Health Center in Culloden. She was born May 10, 1932, in Gallipolis Ferry, a daughter of the late Douglas Raike Sr. and Aileen (Wolfe) Raike. Kathleen was a member of Faith Gospel Church in Gallipolis Ferry. She was a 1950 graduate of Gallia Academy and worked as a typist for various law firms. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dale Sanders Rulen; an infant sister; and two brothers, Douglas "Benny" Raike and Richard Raike. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Rita Jo and James E. Chapman of Culloden; son and daughter-in-law, Ricky Dale and Teri Rulen of Eagleville, TN; two grandchildren, Chris (Tonya) Rulen of Lebanon, TN and Josiah Chapman of Culloden; and one sister, Betty Baldwin of Gallipolis, OH. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. till 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant. A graveside service and burial will follow at the Beale Chapel Cemetery, with Ronnie Cremeans officiating.
