Katherine Jo Clonch

Katherine Jo Clonch, 63, of Point Pleasant, passed away Monday, June 28, 2021, at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, OH. She was born April 30, 1958, in Gallipolis, OH, a daughter of the late Ferrell Clonch and Margaret Louise (Oliver) Clonch Casto. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Pearl and Kate (McCarty) Oliver; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Kenneth and Doris (Wears) Hope; aunt, Bonita Oliver; and a brother-in-law, Mike Hope. Kathy was a graduate of West High School Class of 1976 in Columbus, OH and a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary Post 23 of Point Pleasant.She was retired from AT&T with 33 yrs. service and was currently working as a clerk for the Gallipolis Maintenance Garage in Gallipolis, OH. She is survived by her husband, Kim Hope of Point Pleasant; brothers, Gary (Charlene) Clonch of Point Pleasant and Frank Casto of Columbus, OH; one sister, Connie (Jeff Ward) Brown of Columbus, OH; nieces, Ericka Hesson, Ashley Brown, Lindsay Hope and Tiffany Casto; nephews, David Brown and Zach Casto; uncles and aunt, Slug and Dianna Oliver and Mick Oliver of Point Pleasant; brother-in-law, Laverne Hope of Henderson; and several great nephews, great nieces and cousins. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, July 2, 2021, at the Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, with Minister Bill Deem and Pastor Mark Oliver officiating.Burial will be in the Sand Hill Cemetery in Point Pleasant.Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, at the funeral home and one hour prior to the memorial service Friday.
